In 1995, after the revolution and division of Rwanda, Pastor Innocent had a dream for Successful Christian Ministries. He envisioned restoring those who found themselves broken, traumatized, and separated from their families. The purpose was to find a solution to bring restoration to the communities and country. Pastor Innocent and his family began evangelizing and providing fellowship for the residents of the Nyagatovu Sector of Kigali. This led to recognition from the government to be an established church and they received official documents in 2014. They have established a flourishing church community and a nursery school.
In 2013, Successful Christian Ministries expanded to a second location: the Ndera Sector. Over the years, they have built a thriving church community and a successful nursery school!
Recently, they have expanded to the Nyagatare District of the Eastern Region of Rwanda. Currently, there are two churches which are a result of our radio outreach programs. Following initial contacts in this location, Successful Christian Ministries held conferences and led crusades in order to grow their fellowships and build the churches in Nyagatare.

Our Mission
Our mission is to spread the Word of God throughout the nations. We seek to accomplish this through evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship within our church and the surrounding communities. Additionally, we use different forms of media; Youtube, radio, and television, to spread the Word across East Africa. We also strive to transform the communities we serve through education and financial support. Lastly, we equip and disciple through the study of the Holy Bible.
Our Beliefs
We believe in the Holy Trinity consisting of God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit. The God we serve is the One true God. He is our sustainer, provider and author of our lives. Additionally, we believe that though we live in a fallen, broken world, and God sent His one and only son, Jesus Christ, to be our Savior and Redeemer. When we pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ and accept Him as our savior, we are able to live in union with God. Then, we are able to participate in Holy Communion which is the breaking of bread and sharing of wine with the body of believers in representation of Jesus Christ’s body broken for us and His blood poured out on the Cross for us. We believe in Holy Baptism, the act of cleansing of our human bodies and a representation of a commitment of faith through a physical submersion in water.
